What is ISO 1940 standart?

ISO (International Standard Organization) is a worldwide federation of national standards. The preparation of the international standard is normally carried out by the ISO technical committees. Each of the members of the organization concerned has the right to take part in the technical committee. International organizations within or outside the government may participate in the work related to ISO.
The draft is submitted to the approval of the members before being accepted as an international standard by the standard ISO council, drafted by the technical committee.
